Robotino® XT is a mobile robot application that comprises both a learning system and a research object for future industrial usage. It is based on the Robotino® mobile learning robot developed by Festo Didactic.
This system, which has already been established at universities and vocational schools, is being extended with the addition of a compact version of the Bionic Handling Assistant. Robotino® XT can not only manoeuvre in cramped spaces - with twelve degrees of freedom in all, this robot can move flexibly and can extend its adaptive gripper with high precision.

Der Robotino® XT ist eine mobile Roboteranwendung, die Lernsystem und Forschungsobjekt für zukünftige industrielle Anwendungen zugleich darstellt. Basis ist der von Festo Didactic entwickelte mobile Lernroboter Robotino®.
Erweitert wird das bereits an Hoch- und Berufsschulen etablierte System mit einer kompakten Version des Bionischen Handling-Assistenten. Dadurch kann der Robotino® XT nicht nur auf engstem Raum manövrieren - mit insgesamt zwölf Freiheitsgraden lässt sich der Roboter flexibel bewegen und der adaptive Greifer präzise ausrichten.
